Supervision
When the standard approach isn't working. Bring your complex cases. We'll use the Tracking Better® framework to map what's happening in the nervous system and work out what will actually help. 1:1 or small group sessions.
What supervision can cover
Bring your case. We'll use the Tracking Better® tools to map what's happening and build a practical plan.
-
Map a client's history, triggers, and strengths on a single page. See the whole picture at a glance.
-
Identify which zones they're moving through and what's driving the shifts.
-
Build a body-first toolkit: breathing, safety, sensory, and movement prescriptions matched to their state
-
Work out what YOU need to do when THEY'RE triggered. Match your response to their zone.
-
Use the Five Fingers of Trauma to understand the backstory and tailor your approach.
-
Adapt the one-page assessment for children, young people, adults, dealing with neurodiversity, FASD, ADHD, current adversity.
Who supervision is for
-
When patients present with complexity that doesn't fit the 15-minute consult. Map what's driving the presentation and work out what will actually land.
-
When standard therapeutic approaches aren't getting traction. Build a stress map and regulation prescription to complement your clinical work.
-
For the cases where the system is stuck and the client is escalating. See the nervous system picture and find a way forward.
-
When you're managing acute presentations and need to understand what's driving the dysregulation. Match your response to their state.
-
For young people who've been through everything and nothing's worked. Map the survival animals and build a body-first plan.
-
When a student keeps landing in your office and the usual strategies aren't helping. Understand the stress state and what the classroom is missing.
-
For the kids who can't regulate in the classroom. Work out what's triggering them and what you can do without being their therapist.
-
Bring the cultural context. We'll map the stress picture together and build a plan that fits community.
-
When you're working with young people in placement and the behaviours are escalating. Understand the trauma response and what will help, not make it worse.
-
OTs, speechies, physios working with clients who can't engage. Map the nervous system state and adapt your approach.
